Pixelstorm

This may be the first time I am documenting a phenomenon I do not understand even approximately. However, I am certain of one thing: the Pixelstorm is both extraordinary… and profoundly dangerous. And it will change everything.

Stay calm. Breathe, Persus. Stick to the facts.

Fact one. The Pixelstorm is a spacetime — and possibly virtual-metaphysical — anomaly that has manifested across (almost) all known worlds of the multiverse following Pixelman’s return.

Fact two. The Pixelstorm alters the “rules of the game” at a fundamental level. All foundational laws governing the Simulation cease to function within its area of influence. Gravity, material properties, the flow of time, causality — within the Pixelstorm, there is nothing one can reliably depend on.

Fact three. At present, there is no universal method of counteracting the anomaly. The Pixelstorm behaves differently in each affected world. All attempts to develop a unified stabilization algorithm for the spacetime continuum in its vicinity have, thus far, failed.

Fact four. The zone of influence continues to expand. It appears as though the anomaly is attempting to rewrite the entire Simulation and impose itself as a new standard of existence. Similar to the Bug incident, but—

No. Stick to the facts.

Fact five. The radiation emitted by the Pixelstorm is unpredictable. However, there are confirmed cases in which it grants objects and living entities new properties beyond the current limitations of the Simulation. In other words, the Pixelstorm is not merely a destructive randomizer of reality, but also a potential instrument for… qualitative transformation.

Fact six. I experience both dread and fascination when contemplating this phenomenon.

There is still much we do not understand. For now, our priority remains unchanged: we must not allow the Pixelstorm to break the Simulation.
