Arctic Operation "Defrost" Season: What's New
Pixel World descends into an icy nightmare when control over the climate station is suddenly lost — and villains seize its Arctic Heart. Now Aurora and her heroes must march into the Arctic night to reclaim it and save the holiday.
Winter was supposed to arrive quietly this year, but everything changed when the climate station suddenly went silent. Someone stole its core engine, the Arctic Heart, and without it the entire system collapsed, storms surged across the city and Pixel World froze into an icy prison. All signs pointed to one thing: the thieves had fled north into the Arctic night.
Aurora gathers a rescue team to bring the Arctic Heart back before the world stays frozen for good. But out in the storm nothing is simple.
Who stands behind the sabotage? Can Aurora reclaim the Arctic Heart in time? Will Christmas holidays be saved? And, by the way, has anyone seen Santa?
Arctic Operation "Defrost" Armory
Plasma Charger — compact experimental plasma launcher. Charges up and fires slow plasma rockets with heavy direct impact and modest splash. Ammo is limited, so every shot is a decision, not a reflex.
Aurora Striker — rapid thermal assault rifle. Pours fire into enemies, sets them burning and wraps its wielder in bonus armor, like carrying your own heat source. Comes with a crisp x4 zoom for long, clear lines of sight.
Inuit Shadows Bow — silent hunter’s bow from the ice frontier. A full draw cracks through sturdy armor and throws up a barrier around the user that cuts incoming damage. The more patient the pull, the safer the fight.
Blue Silence — precision laser rifle tuned for control. Fires at a steady rhythm, tags any target it touches and locks down enemy gadgets in a wide chill radius around the hit. One well-placed beam can shut a whole push down.
Glaciers Destroyer — brutal melee relic built for close-quarter freezes. Each strike triggers a chain of explosions and stacks freezing on the target, slowing them until every follow-up blow lands easier than the last. The blast radius is moderate, but the control feels absolute.
Frozen Heartbeat — slow, heavy backup sidearm with an icy pulse. Blinds and freezes on impact and cuts off gadget use the moment it connects. Reloads are not quick, yet every bullet feels like a tiny Arctic storm.
Arctic Operation "Defrost" Heroes
Frost Scout — first to move when Pixel World ices over. Fast, sharp and always one step ahead of the storm, he treats every blizzard as just another route on the map. If someone has to sprint into the dark to save the New Year and the world with it, he is already on his way.
Aurora — the heart and commander of the rescue squad. Brave, steady and stubborn, she is the one who calls the shots when everything else goes silent. After the Arctic Heart was stolen, Aurora took charge in a mission to bring it back.
Arctic Inuit — a fighter shaped by long nights and hard winters. He understands the Arctic like city folks know their own streets and sees every drift and gust as an ally. When the mission reaches the deep ice, he is the one who makes sure the squad keeps moving.
Coldheart — the mastermind behind the global freezing and the theft of the Arctic Heart. Cold in thought and on purpose, he believes people’s reliance on heat is a weakness and plans to bring the new ice age this New Year. As long as he stands in the snow, the storm is on his side.
Operation “Defrost”
Operation Defrost is a three part event journey where you join the rescue squad yourself. From your first steps through empty frozen streets to the final push to bring back the Arctic Heart and the holiday, each chapter moves the story forward.
Follow the trail into the depths of the Arctic and find where the villains took the Arctic Heart. In Into the White, you scout ahead: move across Arctic maps and follow the trail into the deep frost. In Coldheart Clash, you face the saboteurs themselves and fight to take the stolen Arctic Heart back from their hands. In Holiday Restore, you work to melt the damage, restart what was frozen and bring warmth and celebration back to Pixel World. Each chapter pushes the story forward, and every event rewards you with tokens for the special holiday Pixelpon, where the strongest festive weapons are waiting to be claimed.
Pixelpon
Yes, you got it right: sometimes it comes back. Pixelpon is here again, dropping 15 juicy rewards on top of all the events. Jump into every activity, collect tokens and wait for the machine to thaw so it can start spitting out prizes. And remember: the earlier you start, the more generous Pixelpon gets.
Meltdown
We know you have missed seasonal modes, so this holiday is all about Heat. Gather it around the map, fight monsters and other players, then bring your Heat back to the central Hearth to charge it up and keep the fire burning. Take part in this mode to earn valuable rewards and help keep Pixel World warm in these frozen times.
What is Christmas, Pixel Gun–style? It’s an Advent Calendar with 25 mystery gifts, one for each day. Play one battle, open a slot, grab your reward. Missed a day? That gift is gone for good, so log in, drop in and don’t let your presents freeze over.

Dev Hunt
Developers go undercover in public matches with special tags on their names. You will be able to track them down, defeat them or team up with them to complete community bounties and unlock rewards. Hunting devs has never been this legal.

Soon Santa’s Mailbox will open for everyone who has something to say. Write to Santa like a true pixelgunner: share your wishes, wild ideas and deadly jokes. The best letters get featured on stream and social and might even turn into in-game surprises.
