Patch Note 24.8
Here comes the most dreamlike pixel experience yet with Update 24.8!
In the new update, you will visit a mysterious forest filled with glowing mushrooms, strange creatures, and, of course, the most dreamlike weapons. You will find the new guns, inspired by fluorescent fungi and insects, hence chitin elements and poisonous attributes. And finally, with Daisy and Black Dragon by your side, you’ll take the next step in the search for Pixel Man story arc.
Lore
After their exhausting journey through Mictlan, Daisy and the Black Dragon find themselves in a mysterious fungi forest. Daisy merely touched an unfamiliar mushroom—it was glowing too brightly to resist. But that one touch was enough to stir the entire forest. Everything around them shimmered with a strange ripple and pulsed in a unified rhythm.
For Daisy and the Black Dragon, that rhythm meant only one thing—the beginning of another adventure. One they would certainly return from, equipped with never-before-seen weapons.
The local beetles can be crafted into a poisonous Beetles Wand. The glowing mushrooms, able to shine through walls, are perfect for small-caliber weapons. The Hypno Frog’s ability to shift gravitational fields turns it into a deadly gadget, while the Dandelion’s explosive seeds transform the flower into compact artillery.
But that’s all in theory. The most interesting things happen in practice, and the mysterious mushroom forest is the ideal testing ground!
The story-driven Intriguing Wandering grand activity reaches its finale with the third and last chapter: Mysterious Shining. You’ll find out how the adventures of Bubble Queen, Human Rebel, and other pixelgunners ended. Of course, your efforts will be rewarded with unique prizes: the new Berry-Ball gadget, the special Petal Pyro gun, and a skin that completely changes its attributes.
Lore
The pixelgunners defeated Ash Lord and his fiery minions. The Tree of Life was saved, and the raging forest fires were finally extinguished. Yet, even these heroic efforts weren’t enough: thick smoke from the charred remains covered the sky, shrouding the world in an impenetrable fog that blocked out the sun. Only the light of the Shining Flowers can cut through the haze and restore the pixel planet.
Time to clash! Step into a brand-new event like nothing you’ve seen before in Pixel Gun 3D!
This is the ultimate skill test: battle against other pixelgunners and earn tokens for every frag. Use your tokens to unlock new sections of the global map. The more you unlock, the bigger the rewards! And new prizes lead to even fiercer battles. The most unstoppable heroes of the forest will get to try out the new automatic rifle, Ancient Baobab, three unique skins, and a fresh avatar. So yes, you’ve got something to prove in this fight!
We’ve expanded the list of Personal Events—there are even more now:
- The Path of Triumph: claim victories in matches, then claim your prizes;
- Champion’s Tasks: complete the missions and collect your bounty;
- Prize Roulette: conquer all the challenges, spin the wheel, and may fortune favor you;
- Dream Shopping: earn and exchange special Coupons for extra bonuses for your purchases.
These events boost your motivation to claim victories and give you extra resources, perfect for the challenges of the Forest Clash.
